Behind the Scenes
It’s more than planting seeds and watching crops grow. Farming in America has evolved drastically over the years, allowing us to produce more. That, in turn, feeds more people. Wonderful! But the work that is required behind the scenes is increasing drastically, causing many local farms to call it quits.
We work hard every day to make sure that we (and other family farms too) can continue to Grow For You. Putting locally-grown, affordable, nutritious, and delicious food on your table is what gets us up bright and early every morning.
The agricultural industry in America is changing rapidly, creating many challenges for all producers, not just Untiedt’s. Each year, we are blessed to have a wonderful group of Ukrainians join our team for the season, many of whom have been with us for 10+ years. These individuals have not only become our family, but have become dear friends to many of our customers as well.
We have received an influx of calls and emails asking about our team members who join us from Ukraine each season. We are in communication with them, and will pass along any updates as we are able.
They are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
